Tai Chi Tools for Organisations
Energising Tai Chi sessions provide a unique format for
group participation and both invigorate and stimulate participants. Extended
periods of mental concentration are greatly enhanced by simple gentle exercise.
Tai Chi brings the unique atmosphere of the orient and combines relaxation and
exercise to really help groups to focus and work well together.
Ben Milton uses his Tai Chi experience, gained here in
the UK, China and the USA over forty five years, to motivate and stimulate the
group to achieve cohesion and relaxation. He has run seminars and presentation
for industry leading organisations both here in the UK and overseas. He has a
background in business and is comfortable expressing ideas to clients up to
board level.
The sessions are suited to any size of group and can form
an early morning session or works well after lunch to invigorate the delegates
(often when other forms of non-participation don’t work well).
Tai Chi offers an exercise format that is not dependant
on any special equipment and is perfectly suited to participants wearing normal
clothes. As such, many people will find it an enjoyable and refreshing exercise
regardless of their own level of fitness.
A typical session is focused on developing skills useful
in the business environments, for example:
– Stillness and mind body centring, essential prior to
meetings and presentations, incorporating both breathing and movement
techniques.
– Posture development, using tai chi techniques to look
at correct body posture, both sitting and standing.
Ben has undertaken Tai Chi tasters, classes and large
group sessions from 6 people to over 300.
If you would like to discuss your ideas please do not
hesitate to get in touch.
